Canada is a privileged land, a land of vast untouched wilderness and abundant resources, bestowed with precious natural gifts. It is along this Pacific Northwest coast, the Bella Coola River flows from high in the Rockies down to the Pacific Ocean. It is in the region of the Bella Coola River where the Nuxalk people or "the Bella Coola" as they were called, have lived since the land was peopled. It is here that Canada's glacial clay is found.
The Birth of Glacial Clay
Canadian glacial clay was born from nature process, developing over the millennia, from melting glaciers which left, in small pockets, its treasures of glacial clay. The clay, washed by the flow from the Rockies much like the grinding process, turned into granules so tiny that they are finer than the mist.
Glacial Clay for Skin Care
Processing glacial clay into skin care products is a long and involved process. All organic impurities are removed through a specialized technology through a regime of repeated grinding and sifting. A process of temperature treatments are used to ensure that the product is pure and clean.
The long process of making skin care products with clay starts from mixing with other specially selected natural ingredients with no artificial material added.
